The Ramsay Lady Rams are back in the 5A girls championship game after outlasting Marbury 65-53 in the AHSAA Semifinal.
While Marbury got on the board first, Ramsay went on a 14-0 run and forced six turnovers to build a big lead in the first quarter. However, after Ramsay shot 0-9 from the free throw, Marbury was able to trim the deficit.
The Lady Rams broke through from the charity stripe in the second half but maintained the defensive pressure on Marbury, tallying 20 turnovers by the end of the contest.
