Across the state, we observe Thank Alabama Teachers Month in November. We should thank teachers every time we have an opportunity. They devote all of their efforts into helping scholars learn everything from the basics to the more complex lessons that prepare them for their future. At Birmingham City Schools, they nurture our students in a welcoming environment.

We also want to thank our educational support professionals. They give our scholars the extra support they need to function well in the classroom. So, November 20 has been set aside as Educational Support Professionals Day. Our main business in Birmingham City Schools is teaching and learning and everyone works towards those goals.
