Mission
The Mission of the Facilities & Maintenance Department is to provide professional service throughout the district to all faculty, staff, and students year round. The department's aim is to meet those needs by maintaining a safe, secure and comfortable environment which is conducive to a positive learning experience. As a team, the department strives to support the facilities needs of the district by promoting and providing quality service to all.
Major Objectives in Measurable Terms
To improve the physical plant and facilities in order to provide an environment conducive to the teaching and learning process. The goal of Facilities & Maintenance is to provide high quality service for the Birmingham City Schools district.
